American Family Self-Driving “Long March Road”, Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan Mystery Tour: Jiuzhaigou Adventure
In the vast expanse of China, there are countless natural wonders and humanistic treasures to behold. This summer, our family of four, with two adults and two lively children, decided to embark on a unique adventure – driving the “Long March Road” through Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan, with the destination being Jiuzhaigou, which is known as the fairyland on earth.
Our journey began in Songpan, a small city in Sichuan with a long history and a long ancient charm that seemed to take us back to the days of the beacons. Driving 105 kilometers, we traveled slowly along the Nuojiu Highway (the road from Nolgai to Jiuzhaigou). This highway is like a black ribbon winding between the mountains, the road condition is excellent, even if it is a long distance driving, do not feel the slightest bit of fatigue. Along the way, the mountains gradually lowered, the temperature gradually rose, and signs introducing Jiuzhai scenery appeared from time to time on both sides of the highway, signaling that the mysterious land was approaching us.
When we arrived at the parking lot near the Jiuzhaigou scenic area ticket office, it was already more than two o'clock in the afternoon. As soon as we parked the car, an enthusiastic young man came forward to talk to us. It turned out that he was a staff member of a nearby B&B and was busy soliciting guests. After a few conversations, we were attracted by his sincere attitude and the cost-effectiveness of the B&B, and decided to follow his footsteps and go to stay. Located near the scenic spot, the B&B is quiet, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the price is quite reasonable, providing us with a comfortable stopover for the rest of our adventure.
In the afternoon, we chose to rest and recuperate for the following day's trip to Jiuzhaigou. As we strolled around the B&B in the evening, we could see a clear river rushing down from the mountains with raging water, and the banks of the river were filled with hotels, guest houses, restaurants, and other tourist service facilities, highlighting Jiuzhaigou's prosperity and vitality as a popular tourist destination.
The next morning, we stepped into the gate of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area with great anticipation. As soon as we entered the gate, we were deeply shocked by the beauty in front of us. The turquoise lakes, cascading waterfalls, and colorful ponds, each of which looked like a work of art carefully carved by nature, made people linger. The children were even more excited, they ran on the wooden trestle, from time to time issued a burst of exclamation, as if in a fairy tale world.
We take the sightseeing bus shuttle between the various attractions, every place, will get off the car to savor. The Five Flowers Sea attracted our attention with its colorful and rich ecology, and the lake glittered with dazzling light under the sun, as if a huge gem set in the valley. Pearl Beach Waterfall is breathtaking with its spectacular scenery, the waterfall pouring down from a high place, splashing countless water splashes, just like a crystal clear pearl scattered on earth.
During the two days in Jiuzhaigou, we seemed to be isolated from the world, immersed in a peaceful and beautiful. We were immersed in the tranquility and beauty of the city. Every scenery here made us forget to come back, and every breath we took was like washing our souls. The children were even more rewarded. They not only enjoyed the magnificent scenery of nature, but also learned the importance of respecting nature and protecting the environment.
This self-driving “Long March Road”, through the clouds, Guizhou and Sichuan mystery tour, not only let our family of four spend an unforgettable parent-child time, but also let us deeply feel the infinite charm contained in this ancient and magical land of China. Jiuzhaigou, the fairyland on earth, has undoubtedly become the most shining pearl of our trip. In the future, we plan to continue to explore more beautiful scenery in China, so that the children's childhood is full of colors and dreams.
