The air itself:
The Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport can be reached by taking a flight from one of the major airports in Shanghai, such as Shanghai Pudong International Airport or Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. Both of these airports are conveniently located in Shanghai. This is the option that will get you to your destination in the shortest period of time possible, allowing you to save a large amount of time not only on transport but also on trip itself. In most cases, the duration of the flight is anywhere between two and two and a half hours.
Journeys by train:
It is not possible to find a high-speed rail that travels in a direct path. You could start by taking a high-speed train to Changsha, which is the capital city of the province of Hunan. This would be a good way to get started. On average, it takes trains between four and five hours to get from Shanghai Hongqiao Station to Changsha South Station. This is the amount of time that is required for the journey. The subsequent step is to make a transfer at Changsha to either a regular train or a long-distance bus in order to be carried to Zhangjiajie. This can be done in three different ways. The total travel time would be significantly extended as a result of this.
By means of using autonomous driving:
It is estimated that there is a distance of around 1,200 kilometers that separates us from one another. Depending on the state of the road and the speed at which you are traveling, it can take anywhere from fourteen to fifteen hours to complete. The drivers of a vehicle need to make certain that they plan sufficient rest stops along the route in order to prevent themselves from becoming exhausted.
