Tibetan Style in the Land of Heaven: The Jiuzhai Hilton Experience for American Travelers
In the far east, there is a piece of land known to the world as “paradise on earth” – Sichuan. In the far east, there is a land known as “Paradise on Earth” – Sichuan, which is not only rich in cultural heritage, but also breathtaking natural scenery. For Tom, a travel enthusiast from the United States, Sichuan is his next adventure destination.
For his trip to Sichuan, Tom chose a special place to stay – the Lunen Hilton Jiuzhai Resort & Spa. The hotel is located in Jiuzhaigou Zhangzha Town, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, just 12 kilometers away from the Jiuzhaigou scenic area. Surrounded by traditional Tibetan villages, the lifestyle here still retains its ancient and mysterious traditions, where Tibetan culture has been passed down from generation to generation.
When Tom stepped into the door of the hotel, he was immediately attracted by the rich Tibetan flavor of the place. The distinctive wooden corridor, furnished with novel and mysterious decorations, makes people feel as if they were in a mysterious Tibetan tribe. Looking out of the window of the room, the view in front of you is like a stunning landscape painting, which is breathtakingly beautiful without any embellishment.
During the tour of Jiuzhaigou scenic area, Tom chose to take the VIP sightseeing bus, which not only saved his time and physical strength, but also gave him a chance to understand this magical land more deeply. When Tom returned to the hotel at around 4pm, he still had plenty of time to rest and hang out. Wandering inside and outside the hotel, he saw elements of Tibetan style everywhere, which was both refreshing and intriguing to him.
The design of the hotel complex is full of Tibetan characteristics, with a steady architectural style, short outgoing eaves, nearly square windows and contrasting wall paint colors, all of which give a unique Tibetan architectural charm. In addition, the hotel is surrounded by high-end resort hotels such as Conrad Hotel and Ritz-Carlton Hidden World Hotel, which together form the Jiuzhai Huamei Resort Resort. This resort not only has beautiful natural scenery, but also focuses on creating a Tibetan and Qiang non-heritage cultural town, so that tourists can enjoy their vacation while gaining a deeper understanding of the local cultural heritage.
In Zhangzha Town, Tom felt the intersection of pristine natural scenery and rich Tibetan culture. Here is a canyon about 10 kilometers long and 4.5 kilometers wide, with an average elevation of 2,189 meters, and a peak elevation of about 4,000 meters. The river is turbulent, with waves running down the river, which belongs to the source of the Baishui River in the upper reaches of the Jialing River of the Yangtze River Basin System. A small colorful wooden bridge crosses the river and becomes a bright landscape.
In the hotel restaurant, Tom savored the local cuisine. On the first night, he enjoyed a sumptuous dinner in the hotel restaurant; while on the second night, he chose a restaurant across the street from the hotel, Drunken Bashful Old Hot Pot, to taste the local grilled fish. These delicacies not only satisfied his taste buds, but also gave him a deeper understanding of Sichuan's food culture.
During his time at the Jiuzhai Huamei Resort & Spa, Tom not only enjoyed the comfortable accommodations and food, but also gained a deeper understanding of the local Tibetan and Qiang culture and natural scenery. He strolled among the green mountains and waters, feeling the magic of nature; he wandered among the Tibetan-style buildings, savoring the ancient and mysterious cultural heritage. This trip to Sichuan is not only a spiritual baptism for Tom, but also an unforgettable adventure.
As night fell, Tom sat on the balcony of the hotel, looking out at the distant snow-capped mountains and clouds. His heart was filled with gratitude and fulfillment for the wonderful memories and valuable experiences this trip had brought him; fulfillment for the inner peace and joy he had found in this magical land. He knew that this trip to Sichuan would be an unforgettable journey in his life, engraved in his memory forever.
