Below, let me share with you the unforgettable experience of my journey from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou to admire the red leaves and colored forests.
Itinerary Planning
Before setting off, I carefully studied Jiuzhaigou’s ticket policy, accommodation options, and the best time for viewing the red leaves. Day 1: Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou
Early in the morning, I left Chengdu with great anticipation, taking a high-speed train to the Huanglong Jiuzhaigou Station. Upon arrival, I chose to visit the Huanglong Scenic Area directly. Huanglong is famous for its magnificent calcium carbonate landscapes, with attractions like the Five-Color Pool and Huanglong Temple that are captivating. Therefore, I chose to enter the scenic area again for a deeper exploration. This time, I focused on visiting some attractions in the Zezawa Valley and Shuzheng Valley. The vastness of the Long Sea and the splendor of the Five-Color Pool made me reluctant to leave. The tranquility of the犀牛海 (Xiniu Sea) and the roaring of the诺日朗瀑布 (Nuorilang Waterfall) composed another captivating scene.
In the evening, I reluctantly left Jiuzhaigou and headed to the Huanglong Jiuzhaigou Station for my return journey. While waiting for the train at the station, I reminisced about the highlights of the past few days, filled with gratitude and satisfaction.
