Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan, the magical Jiuzhaigou, paradise on earth here is known as the “king of the water” is a deserved world natural heritage Jiuzhaigou, not only is a fairy tale, but also a myth.
Once upon a time, even if you need to take a bus or long-distance driving, but also can not extinguish the enthusiasm of everyone to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
The opening of the Huanglong Jiuzhaigou Station on the Sichuan-Qingdao Railway has greatly shortened travel time. Jiuzhaigou before and after the earthquake what changes have occurred, once colorful sea still exists? (What happened to Jiuzhaigou?)
East ditch – Rize ditch: the most essential area
Jiuzhaigou consists of three main ditches forming a Y-shaped distribution, of which Rize ditch in the eastern line is the essence of the scenic area.
The main attractions here are the Arrow Bamboo Sea, Panda Lake, the Sea of Flowers, and Pearl Beach Falls. All the way to the sea is dense, the natural scenery is absolutely beautiful, the lake is changing.
Arrow Bamboo Sea, the movie “Hero” Nameless and the remnant of the sword water fight place;
Panda Sea, often frequented by pandas in the past;(What is Chengdu famous for?China’s ‘Panda Capital’ )
Five Flowers Sea, the world’s top ten most beautiful lakes, colorful lake water is breathtaking;
Pearl Beach Falls, “Journey to the West” in the master and disciple four had led the horse from here.
Overall this ditch is not affected by the earthquake, still maintains the once magnificent and aura.
However, if tourists observe carefully, they can still see the swamping phenomenon around the lake, especially during the dry season.
The earthquake and its accompanying geomorphological process destroyed the mountain vegetation and soil, producing a large number of loose material sources into the lake, growing many algae and water plants;
Let its water quality is no longer as clean and blue as in the past, it is difficult to find once that kind of heartwarming feeling.
Xigou – Zechawa Gully severely affected by the earthquake
Zechawa ditch is now the longest ditch developed in Jiuzhaigou, but nowadays there are relatively few attractions, and most tourists will choose to take a car tour.
It was once as famous as Rizegou, but now it has become bland due to the lack of water, and most of the seas along the way are on the verge of drying up.
Even in the abundant water period, this ditch of the upper and lower seasonal sea are very difficult to have water, everywhere you can see the depleted riverbed.
But thankfully there is still the Changhai and the Wucai Pond here, though they have both dropped considerably from their water levels at the same time in previous years.
Changhai, the widest and deepest lake in Jiuzhaigou, can be surrounded by serious damage to vegetation, has been no longer once on earth the feeling of the secret world, cloudy days is more general sense of view.
Colorful pool, elementary school language textbook of the sea. Jiuzhaigou damaged one of the most serious sea, after the earthquake restoration of the water is too small, it is difficult to give people a heartfelt shock.
The reason for the lack of water in Zechawa ditch, although the official explanation is due to the seasonal water shortage caused by rainfall, but I personally believe that it is more of an earthquake caused by the destruction of the underground water system.
Nowadays, Jiuzhai’s immortal energy is getting weaker and weaker, and its popularity is getting stronger and stronger. So travel while you can!
Middle Gully – Shuzheng Gully from low to high profile
Shuzhenggou was often overlooked in the past and was far less popular than the other two ditches.
But now it has changed into a “meat and potatoes”, only because the west ditch and the east ditch of the water are gathered here, so that the amount of water is guaranteed.
Water is the soul of jiuzhai, is the blood of paradise. Water abundance under the tree under the ditch, the sea is more crystal clear, the color is more bright and colorful.
In addition, the number of lakes here is extremely large, and each sea has a different beauty, so it is not strange to become a net red. The main attractions of Shuzhenggou are Tiger Sea, Shuzheng Qunhai, Spark Sea, Double Dragon Sea, and Reed Sea, etc., all of which have different styles and are extremely easy to photograph.
Even though the landscape of the lakes has changed dramatically due to the collapse of a serious earthquake, this does not prevent them from remaining beautiful.
It’s just that strolling through them is still an indescribable pity.
Formerly dense and flourishing forests, now exposed bare rocks; former full of green trails, now become depressed and desolate; former wide waterfalls, now no longer tall and majestic.
The most regrettable is the tree is the village, completely reduced to merchants selling things place, tourism recovery intensified its commercialization.
Walking into it, densely packed with travel photo stores, the once wide lawn has been turned into a square, and you have to worry about getting caught if you want to stay here.
Is Jiuzhaigou still worth visiting after the END earthquake? My answer is yes.
Jiuzhaigou’s beauty is just a comparison with the past. Among the hundreds of 5A-level scenic spots in China, Jiuzhaigou is still the ceiling of natural scenery.
It has always been in the lead and has never been surpassed.
However, to enjoy the ultimate scenery here, I personally suggest that it is best to visit during the abundant water season, i.e. August-October every year. After all, the toilet cleaner-like colorful pools are not for every public.
